I want to tell you about a really simple way to use negatively-charged static electricity to get rid of pain and discomfort. This therapy doesn’t require a great deal of skill. In fact, many people may be reluctant to give it a try because it’s so low-tech, but don’t discount it for this reason. It’s a great way to help you rid yourself of pain.

So how does it work?
I’m sure you’ve experienced an electrical shock caused by static electricity when you’ve walked across a carpet. Well, this same static electricity can be used to ease a lot of pain and suffering.

Every living cell in the body has a positive and negative charge. It is the balance of these charges that results in good health; an imbalance leads to malfunction and poor health. If an area of the body has a predominantly negative charge, tissues are more alkaline and blood circulation to the area will decrease, resulting in lower temperatures.

A predominantly positive charge indicates over-activity in an area, usually accompanied by excess acid in tissues, inflammation, swelling, heat, and pain. Headaches, joint and muscle inflammation, and most other common ailments fit into this category. Introducing additional negatively-charged particles (electrons) to the area can help reverse these problems.

How to harness static electricity for pain relief…

One of the easiest ways to create a fairly large amount of usable negative electrons is with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plumbing pipe and some fuzzy material. You can purchase PVC pipe from any lumber yard, building supply company, or plumber. All you need is an 18-inch piece of one-and-a-half inch pipe. One of the best options for the fuzzy material is that wild-looking polyester fake fur that comes in so many outlandish colors. You should be able to find it in fabric or craft stores.

To create static electricity, take the PVC pipe in one hand and rub the piece of fuzzy material back and forth along the pipe. Then move the charged PVC pipe slowly back and forth over the painful body area, keeping it about a half-inch inch from the skin. After three or four passes, recharge the pipe by rubbing it against the material again. Keep repeating the process until you feel relief.

The results can be quite dramatic.
Most people notice improvement in five to seven
minutes. More stubborn problems, like severe headaches, may take as long as 15 minutes. There’s no set time period for treating a problem, so you can charge an area as long and as often as you feel you need to.
